We haven’t enough words to say “THANK YOU” to Emily, Natasha, Jo & Bee that make up the JENBOJets, a UK-based swimming team and part of the Serpentine Swimming Club. With Octavia as their chief support they start yesterday and they continue to swim the full length of Lake Geneva.

They expect the 69km swim, from Villeneuve to Geneva, to take 24-30 hours in total. As they’re swimming it in a relay format, they’ll be in the support boat alongside for the entire time that they’re not in the water, until they all arrive together at Bains de Paquis, Geneva, some time on next morning / early afternoon, depending on conditions on the lake.

They’re doing the swim to raise money for 2 important charities, Lifeguard Hellas, who assist refugees in the water near the island of Lesvos, Greece. More information can be found on Emily’s justgiving.org page, where you can also donate.

We feel grateful..we wish we could be at the finish line!
